Description

Also known as bloody geranium, It is also the county flower of Northumberland. The typical habitat of this species is grassland, sand dunes and open woodland on calcareous soils, including rocky slopes. Bloody Cranesbill is a hardy geranium that enjoys partial shade. With bristly flower stalks Bloody Cranesbill produces magenta flowers.
