Description
Also known as True forget me not is usually found in wet and damp habitats, such as bogs, ponds, streams, ditches, fen and rivers. Whilst it favours wet ground, it can survive submerged in water, and often can form floating rafts. Planting depth is usually anywhere from 0 to 4 inches of water, so does like shallow water or marshland as marginal plants. It is an excellent plant for providing cover and shelter for newts and other amphibians.
Myosotis scorpioides is a native plant to Europe and Asia producing sky-blue flowers in wet habitats.
