Description

Shades of purple, lilac-blue, striped, orange and white make up this lush mix of goblet-shaped crocus flowers. Sprouting in March and April above slender, strap-shaped leaves to around 5 inches tall and are wonderful garden varieties. These vigorous Dutch bulbs are fast growing and like gritty, poor to moderately fertile well drained soil in full sun. At the arrival of spring, crocus corms sprout in a wide range of colours including white, yellow, and purple flowers producing active growth with structural green leaves that are like straps. Their corms allow them to withstand cold winters and this variety is great for UK gardens, with larger flowers than other crocus.

Crocus vernus prefers well-draining soil in full sun or partial shade, bringing beautiful spring colour to a sunny spot in your garden or rock garden.

Plant them about 8cm deep or 3 inches in flower beds or garden soil.  PDF: Planting Instructions Here
