In mid to late spring Muscari neglectum spring bulbs produce spikes of dense flower heads, commonly blue, urn-shaped flowers upon flower stalks. Blue grape hyacinth should be planted around 10cm (4-6 Inches deep) in well-drained soil in light shade for optimal conditions to grow these cheery flowers with a lovely sweet fragrance. Great spring bloomers for a rock garden with sandy soil, partial shade garden with good drainage, or window boxes.
