Excellent on dry stone walls in open and anywhere else where full sun and good drainage are available. The sweet scented flowers bloom in late spring in a sunny position with a typical flowering period of march to june. The bushy growth and ornamental plant flowers look similar to bowles mauve in stature. Wallflower plants produce beautiful coloured flowers in spring.
