Description
Also known as the Woodland Tulip, a plant in the lily family. It is found in dry grassy places and in woodland copses. Wild tulip bulbs should be planted in areas with dappled shade. With a short bloom time of March to April, tulipa sylvestris produces large yellow flowers at the start of spring growing to around 8 inches tall.
