Water mint is a variety of mint commonly found on pond shelves and across water margins. The aromatic leaves have a distinctive mint smell and grow much the same as others in the mint family. Mentha aquatica is native to much of Europe, north Africa, and Southwest Asia and attracts beneficial insects, aquatic wildlife and pollinators.
Mentha Aquatica prefers boggy soil conditions in shallow water. Producing pink flower colours during summer months.
