Description
Known as perennial peavine, perennial pea, broad-leaved everlasting-pea, or just everlasting pea. Bumblebees pollinate the flowers. Butterflies visit the flowers for their nectar. With tall flowering stems, lathyrus latifolius can quickly grow from ground level to reach heights of up to 2m. Winged stems give a beautiful flower display and would do great against a sunny wall or at the back of a border. Blooms in mid to late summer. Grows well in most soil types with hairless stems producing pink flowers in summer.
