Description
The perennial flax, blue flax or lint, Grows in very well-drained soil in full sun; heat tolerant and drought tolerant, good for hot, dry locations. Effective in rock gardens, border fronts, meadows, cottage gardens or informal plantings. Also a colorful addition to an herb garden. Expect stunning blue flax flowers mid summer atop wiry stems. Linum – Flax cooked seeds can be eaten and have a nutty taste.
