Soil preparation Ploughed between October and June depending on the soil type and previous crop. Land is then cultivated using a power harrow seen to the right. |

Seeding Seeds are drilled using the machine opposite. |

Growing Season Once established, plants are allowed to complete their growing cycle, producing amazing displays during the summer months. The photo opposite is a strip of Ragged Robin (Lychnis flos-cuculi) in flower. |

Harvest The final stage of the field work is harvest. This carried out using a cabless combine pictured opposite. Seed is bagged off the combine and moved to the store for the next stage - cleaning and storage. |
